OPTURE AG is the leading system provider for Risk management software in Europa. Das Unternehmen wurde 02/2002 von Dres. Dirk und Mark Noetzold gegründet und ist auch heute noch im alleinigen Besitz der Gründer. Der Name OPTURE leitet sich aus dem Satz „OPTimize the futURE“ ab, da Risikomanagement als Zielsetzung hat, die Unsicherheiten der Zukunft zu bewerten und zu steuern.

OPTURE pursues the mission not only to record risks, but to embed them into corporate planning as an active management variable—as a second management dimension that systematically takes opportunities and threats into account (-> risk-adjusted P&L). The OPTURE software is intuitively operable, modularly expandable, individually configurable, flexibly administrable, and easy to implement.
Through the consistent further development our methods and close cooperation with leading companies, OPTURE has become a central component of modern governance and risk management architectures. Implementation
The technical implementation of the OPTURE software is simple and efficient, as OPTURE is fully compatible with all established databases, server infrastructures, and IT architectures. Thanks to standardized interfaces, flexible configuration options, and a high-performance system architecture, OPTURE can be quickly integrated and operated reliably—regardless of existing system landscapes or company size. Approximately 90–95% of our customers use our solution SaaS solution with private or public hosting.
At the substantive implementation of risk management we consistently align ourselves with the requirements and fields of application of our customers. Depending on the level of maturity and objective, various OPTURE ERM modules are available: OPTURE ERM Smart for getting started in risk management, OPTURE ERM Basic for advanced requirements as well as OPTURE ERM Advanced for experts, including MC simulation, KRI systems, or risk-adjusted planning. This ensures that every risk management system is precisely tailored to the organizational needs

In 2021 was the OPTURE software completely newly developed and at the same time to a technologically leading platform expanded in the regulatory environment for industrial companies.

Foundation of OPTURE and development of the first software solutions.

Development of the Risk Engine with Monte Carlo simulation, professional risk models, and expansion of the product portfolio to include internal control systems (ICS) and compliance.

OPTURE is developing an entirely new software solution. Our software is developed entirely in-house and is based on a modern, highly scalable greenfield architecture. With OPTURE RegOS—the Regulatory Operating System—we have created a fully integrated platform that combines 14 specialized software solutions.

Dirk Noetzold is an expert in the fields of Risk management, Financial Engineering, Asset Valuation, as well as in the Modeling and the hedging of risks associated with business processes and investments. He gained his expertise as a quant and risk manager at investment banks in Berlin and London. Dirk studied physics and mathematics.

Mark Noetzold is an expert in the fields of Risk management, GRC, and other regulatory areas. Mark serves on various supervisory boards and works as a lecturer in risk management. He gained his practical experience as a consultant for a globally leading strategy consulting firm and as an executive board member of a mid-sized retail company.
